wine review

A merlot-dominated blend from the Montagne-Saint-Émilion district of Bordeaux. More concentrated than one might expect at this price, it’s creamy, sticky-dense, voluptuously fruited and tangy, with blackcurrant and blackberry jam notes plus smoky cedar and tobacco leaf. Approachable now but worth cellaring for up to five years. Available in Ontario at the price below.

  • Year: 2015
