Samsung apologizes to investors for being slow to AI party

Samsung Electronics apologized to investors Oct. 8 for not making the most of the AI boom. The tech giant announced that its third-quarter profit would be lower than expected saying delays with a major AI chip customer, and increased competition from Chinese chipmakers led to a drop in its semiconductor earnings.
