Biden formally apologizes to Native Americans for federally run boarding schools

U.S. President Joe Biden formally apologized for the 'sin' inflicted on Native Americans at federally run boarding schools. The program was stopped after some 150 years in operation but the federal government never formally apologized, according to Biden during his address at Gila River Indian Community in Arizona.
