Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos took Super Bowl 50, 24-10, on Sunday night, knocking off the Carolina Panthers in an upset victory.
It's suspected that Manning will retire after this season, so winning the Vince Lombardi Trophy would be an ideal way to go out for the 39-year-old.
It was Manning's second Super Bowl title, and the Broncos' third as a franchise.

The match up
Super Bowl 50 is a battle between the NFL's two No. 1 seeds, the AFC-champion Denver Broncos and the NFC-champion Carolina Panthers. It will be the Broncos' eighth Super Bowl appearance in 22 franchise playoff runs, while the Panthers will take their second shot at a championship since their inception in 1995.
How they got here
The Panthers, riding Newton's hot hand, cruised through the regular season with 15-1 record before taking down the Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals in a pair of postseason contests to land a spot in the league championship.
The Broncos find themselves on the verge of capturing their third Super Bowl thanks to a 12-4 season that preceded playoff wins over the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New England Patriots. Manning is looking to go out on top – it's widely suspected that he will retire after this season.

Super Bowl hype
Sunday's kickoff will bring to an end the always-monotonous Super Bowl week. Teams arrived in the San Francisco Bay Area Monday for six days of practice, events and media availability that create a sideshow like none other in sports.
By mid-week, it was clear the repetitive nature of the sports media cycle was getting to some of the players who had faced a daily barrage of questions from football writers and bloggers.
Newton, who made his feelings about the media hype surrounding the Super Bowl clear several times throughout the week, returned to the podium on Thursday, shaking his head for what he probably expected would be the usual run down of "can you talk about how it feels" questions. He lit up when a special member of the media asked the first question.
"Caaaaam. Oh Caaaaaam! Caaaaaaam! Dab for me!"
