Ottawa's Erika Seltenreich-Hodgson, 17, broke through for her first career international swimming gold medal in the women's 200-metre individual medley race at the second stop on Europe's Mare Nostrum circuit.
Olympic veterans Brent Hayden, Katerine Savard and Sinead Russell each added silver in their events.
In the women's 200 medley, Seltenreich-Hodgson, one of eight Canadian juniors competing on the circuit, clocked two minutes and 13.94 seconds for. Yuzhe He of China took the silver in 2:14.74.
Hayden, of Mission, B.C., took silver in the men's 50 freestyle in 22.38, just 0.02 seconds off the time posted by winner Florent Manaudou of France. Hayden still has to race his Olympic event, the 100 freestyle.
"I'm pleased with Brent's improving performances over the last few weeks," said Canadian national coach Tom Johnson. "We're out here to compete under various conditions and to get race fit. There are areas to work on and nothing brings the message home more than being out-touched at the finish."
In the women's 100 butterfly, Ingvild Snildald of Norway won gold in 58.53 just edging Savard, from Pont-Rouge, Que., second in 58.56. Noemie Thomas of Vancouver was sixth and Audrey Lacroix of Pont-Rouge seventh.
"I've had trouble getting untracked in the start of my races but that worked better today," Savard said. "This time I had difficulties with my finish. The big challenge on this tour is to produce consistent performances in each of my events."
Russell, of Burlington, Ont., was second in the women's 100 backstroke in 1:01.26. Lizzie Simmonds of Britain took the gold in 1:00.71. Lauren Lavigna of Vancouver was fifth and Chantal Van Landeghem of Winnipeg seventh.
Tobias Oriwol of Toronto, also an Olympic nominee, took bronze in the men's 200 individual medley with Jake Tapp of Langley, B.C., fifth. Charles Francis of Cowansville, Que., was fifth in the 100 backstroke.
Kierra Smith of Kelowna, B.C., added a bronze in the 200 breaststroke and Ashley McGregor of Pointe-Claire, Que., was sixth. In the 50 breaststroke, Smith and McGregor were fourth and sixth.
Van Landeghem and Victoria Poon of Montreal were fourth and sixth in the 50 freestyle while Barbara Jardin of Montreal and Karyn Jewell of Orleans, Ont., were fourth in the 200 freestyle and 800 freestyle respectively.
