Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce has hired a former Deutsche Bank commodities specialist at its New York operations.

The firm said in an internal announcement that Ami Greenstein is joining as a managing director in what CIBC calls the corporate solutions group. "He will be focused on customizing financing and hedging solutions for clients with an emphasis on commodities," the announcement said.

He will be a managing director, the bank said.

Mr. Greenstein was previously at Deutsche Bank, where he spent five years, according to his Linkedin profile. Prior to that, he worked at Barclays.
