That lack of competition gave them the confidence to turn down the first weak offer. They were able to wait for another bid and negotiate an acceptable offer $29,000 below their asking price.
“It was a busy listing because it was in a great location,” said agent Mary Jo Vradis. “It’s a good starter home, and it’s been renovated.
“We priced it appropriately, which is why it sold fast,” she said. “We did quite a bit of stuff, like a lot of staging and painting, even though it was already renovated.”
