If you asked any self-respecting kid in 1989 what the future would look like, the inevitable answer would include the words "DeLorean," "Marty McFly," and "that super-cool hoverboard!" We're closing in on the year 2015, the year depicted in Back to the Future II, and it's safe to say we won't have any flying cars or skateboards any time soon.

But all's not lost. While we can't have the toys from the movie, we can at least steal from its look book.

As a nod to our inner nerd (and the Kanye-inspired retro-future chic we so covet), Diamond Comics will release a replica of Marty McFly's styling cap from the classic film. It features ultra-refractive fabrics to give it that 1980s rainbow colouring, and incredible one-size-fits-all technology (well, a Velcro strap).

Combine it with a pair of McFly-inspired Nike Hyperdrunk sneakers for that authentic Michael J. Fox look and pick it up now before Hollywood crushes our childhood dreams by releasing Back to the Future IV.

$25 (U.S.) at www.amazon.com.
