These days, everyone and their grandma is the proud owner of an eco-bag or tote. We've all been forced to bring them to the supermarket, the mall - even when purchasing our lunchtime burrito.

Finding a bag that appeals to our aesthetic sensibilities has been a challenge. So when an entire store full of striking screen-printed totes crops up, it must be on to something good. Alphabet Bags, started by London-based couple Hayley Thwaites and Lucas Lepola, is, as the name suggests, a line of totes dedicated to all our favourite letters.

The totes come in A through Z, as well as various numbers and punctuation marks, and are available in black-on-white or white-on-black. Made from 100-per-cent heavyweight cotton, the bags measure 16.5 by 14 inches, which should be more than enough space for a day of errands.

£10 (about $17) each, available at alphabetbags.com.
