Security footage released by Toronto Police shows what they say is a getaway car, allegedly used after a shooting outside a North York school.

Toronto police have released security footage stills of what they say is a getaway car, allegedly used last Thursday after a shooting outside a North York school.

The shooting left two teenagers wounded. A 14-year-old girl was taken to hospital with a leg wound and a 19-year-old man with multiple gunshot injuries to his torso, police said.

On Monday, police said one suspect is believed to be about 17 or 18 and between 5'8" and 5'10". He's described as having a "light-black" complexion and was last seen wearing a grey hooded top.

He fled in a silver or grey, new model, four-door car, police said.

Last week, police said they were seeking an accomplice alleged to have driven the getaway car.

The incident was near Oakdale Park Middle School in the Jane-Finch neighbourhood shortly after 10 a.m., putting classrooms into lockdown. Police said neither of the victims were students at the school or known to police.

Witnesses said the incident appeared to have been an attack directed at the man as he walked out of a nearby community centre, across from the school.
