Toronto police are hunting a man accused of injuring two officers and trying to grab their sidearms before fleeing during a confrontation in the central-east part of the city Sunday night.
Brian Christopher Hutchings, 29, was at an address on Bleecker Street in Cabbagetown when police tried to arrest him.
He threw a bicycle at them, and during a struggle attempted to disarm the two officers, police said.
Both were injured, neither seriously, and one remains in hospital.
Mr. Hutchings faces multiple charges and should be considered dangerous, police said.
He's white, 5-9 with a medium build, short brown hair and green eyes.
