In photos: U of T's winter warriors
Around 400 University of Toronto students from Scarborough to Mississauga braved the cold to throw and dodge snowballs at the U of T’s Campus Wide Snowball Fight in what is hoped will become an annual event. According to organizers, the ultimate goal is to break the world record for snowball fight participants which is 5834 set in 2013 in Seattle. The Globe and Mail photographer Fred Lum put himself in the middle of the fray to capture some exciting, bone-chilling photos.
