SARAH JESSICA PARKER
It hasn't been a good week for Sarah Jessica Parker. She was named "unexpected crush" by Maxim magazine, which sounds good at first but is akin to winning "most improved," especially when it comes from a lad's mag that named you Unsexiest Woman Alive the year before. Speaking of magazines, the cover of Star screams "Sarah Jessica Parker's husband caught cheating!" And then there is the matter of the mole. It appears SJP had her famous chin mark removed. Who can blame her, after Rex Reed wrote in the New York Observer: "There's nothing wrong with Sarah Jessica Parker that couldn't be cured by wart-removal surgery." Aren't you glad you're not famous?
RUSSIA
Being into emo - the whiny teen-boy music popularized by bands such as My Chemical Romance and Fall Out Boy - could become illegal in Russia, NME.com reports. Critics say the music glorifies suicide and are drafting legislation that would ban the distinct emo look from schools. That claim sounds like a load of nonsense - although the sight of "guyliner" and stupid asymmetrical haircuts has been known to incite anger in others.
90210 NAIL POLISH
