With Mars strong on your birthday this year you must make big plans and put all your energy behind them. There will, of course, be opposition along the way but you will enjoy proving the doubters wrong. You’re at your best when faced with a challenge.
ARIES (March 21 - April 20):
With so many changes taking place in your world at the moment you may feel a bit insecure but today’s Mars-Mercury link will give you reasons to believe that life isn’t so bad after all. Your mind creates your reality, so be positive at all times.
TAURUS (April 21 - May 21):
If you keep things simple as the new week begins you won’t have too many problems, and certainly none that you are unable to deal with. However, with Mercury moving retrograde through your sign you must focus on facts rather than wishful thinking.
GEMINI (May 22 - June 21):
The message of the stars today is that you have to get rid of something you no longer need. You know what that something is and on a deep inner level you know that no matter how attached to it you may be it’s time to let it go.
CANCER (June 22 - July 23):
At times today it may feel as if you are throwing yourself against a brick wall, so inflexible is the opposition to your plans in certain quarters. Has it not occurred to you that from where other people sit you look like the inflexible one? Give it some thought.
LEO (July 24 - Aug. 23):
Force yourself to do something exciting as the new week begins, something that ignites the spark inside you that has been burning a little low of late. Once you get moving your lust for life will soon reappear. Don’t lose it so easily next time.
VIRGO (Aug. 24 - Sept. 23):
You may be powerless to stop changes you don’t understand but that may not be such a bad thing. According to the planets if you embrace what takes place this week you will find you quite enjoy it and may even be able to profit from it.
LIBRA (Sept. 24 - Oct. 23):
Before you lock horns with a rival on the work front try searching for ways that your differences can be resolved without a head-on collision. There are some battles you cannot win and this may be one of them, so look for a compromise solution.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24 - Nov. 22):
You are not the sort to apologize for things you’ve said or done and that’s good because if you admit you got something wrong you will never hear the last of it. Stand by your opinions today, even though you may not entirely believe them.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 - Dec. 21):
The more you allow yourself to worry about your cashflow situation the less likely it is you will find a solution. Focus on something that has nothing to do with money and, when you least expect it, the answer to your problem will pop into your head.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 - Jan. 20):
If you are finding it hard to be cheerful at the moment you could do worse than seek out a friend who always seems able to make you smile. Once they’ve got you laughing again life will look a lot better than it did just a few hours before.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 - Feb. 19):
