Whatever actions you are planning for the coming year you must make sure you can live with the consequences. It’s not enough just to be ambitious, you must be ambitious for reasons that go beyond personal success. Will the world at large benefit too?
ARIES (March 21 - April 20):
You may have regrets that one or more projects did not work out to your liking but there is no point dwelling on it. Use the experience you have gained to make sure that your next project shows you still have what it takes.
TAURUS (April 21 - May 21):
You may not realize it but you have some powerful friends and if you ask them for assistance today they will happily fight in your corner. Act tough even if you don’t feel tough. Your rivals fear you more than you need fear them.
GEMINI (May 22 - June 21):
Your reasoning powers may be top notch but not everyone shares your talent for practical thinking, so spell out what it is you want from friends and colleagues and leave them in no doubt that you expect them to deliver – and they will.
CANCER (June 22 - July 23):
Your head may be full of dreams but you cannot expect all of them to come true, so be selective and decide which two or three of those dreams are most worth pursuing – then go after them with every ounce of energy you possess.
LEO (July 24 - Aug. 23):
What occurs today will make you want to jump for joy. So go right ahead and show the world how happy you are to be alive. On the work front especially you can expect some wonderful news. Could be you’re about to move up in the world.
VIRGO (Aug. 24 - Sept. 23):
You have never been shy about giving advice and what you tell friends and loved ones today could be the kind of precious information they would be fools to ignore. There are, of course, no guarantees. They may have ideas of their own.
LIBRA (Sept. 24 - Oct. 23):
Life certainly won’t be boring with Venus, your ruler, moving through the most adventurous area of your chart. If there is some faraway place you have always wanted to visit now is the time to stop dreaming and actually buy that ticket.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24 - Nov. 22):
Now is as good a time as any to break the news to family and friends that you intend to start moving in a new direction in life. Then, of course, you must put your money where your mouth is and show them you mean it.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23 - Dec. 21):
By all means get out and about and have fun today but don’t overdo it. You must make sure your head is clear tomorrow and Thursday as there are new opportunities coming your way and you don’t want to be too worn out to miss them.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22 - Jan. 20):
You may have your suspicions that a friend or work colleague is up to no good but unless you have evidence you would be wise to keep your thoughts to yourself. There’s always the chance you could have got the wrong end of the stick entirely.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 21 - Feb. 19):
Your outlook on life can be a bit rigid at times and that could cause problems when the Sun changes signs on Thursday. Family matters, especially, must be approached with a great deal of sensitivity. If not, you could make matters worse.
PISCES (Feb. 20 - Mar. 20):
A task you thought would be difficult will turn out to be surprisingly easy today and no doubt you will be relieved. The attitude you choose to adopt will to a large extent determine whether the universe works with you or against you.
