'I've had people come down here with knives, guns and whatever over the years. You get the problem because of the area you're in,' says Jim Scott, who's been a 'comfort station attendant' in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside since 1998. But, Mr. Scott says, his job is anything but boring. 'I meet people from all walks of life here - the situations that are here, most of them are hilarious but some of them are sad.'
