Person Christina Aguilera

From her Disney days to her Dirrty nights, Christina Aguilera has reinvented herself enough times to be deemed a proper pop star.

With her new album on the horizon, however, Xtina is now being accused of copying someone else: Lady Gaga. Blogs are abuzz with whispers that Aguilera stole styles in her latest video (like the combo shown here) from Gaga.

Oh pish posh. While we do love the Lady, we're pretty sure she doesn't have a monopoly on latex.

Place Usedom, Germany

While the image above looks straight out of some weird desert-ninja flick, it's actually one of the designs up for this year's Baltic Fashion Awards.

Given out in the northern German city of Usedom, the prizes are awarded to designers born in Baltic Sea states in three categories: best female collection, best male collection and best innovative/visionary concept.

The winners get €7,500 (about $10,000). Our money's totally on the desert ninja.

Thing North Star Sneakers

In a world of recycled movie plots and copycat clothing lines, it's refreshing to see the return of something we actually welcome.

North Star, the iconic Canadian sneaker beloved by millions in the seventies and eighties, is being resurrected. More good news: Adrian Aitcheson and Pablo Monzo - the duo behind the hip Team Canada collection at the recent Vancouver Olympics - are in charge of the resurgence

Patriotism, it's so hot right now.
