(“CVR Energy” or the “Company”) (NYSE: CVI) today announced net income of $94 million, or 93 cents per diluted share, on net sales of $2.4 billion for the first quarter of 2022, compared to a net loss of $39 million, or 39 cents per diluted share, on net sales of $1.5 billion for the first quarter of 2021. First quarter 2022 EBITDA was $278 million, compared to first quarter 2021 EBITDA of less than $1 million.
