Supremex Inc. (SXP-T) announced the acquisition of Royal Envelope Corp., a Chicago-based envelope manufacturer and lithography company, for US$18.7-million on a cash-free and debt-free basis.

Hexo Corp. (HEXO-T) reported net revenue of $42.5-million for its fourth quarter ended July 31, compared to $38.8-million a year ago. The expectation was for revenue to come in at $44.8-million, according to S&P Capital IQ. The company said its total net loss was $102.4-million in the quarter, which compared to a profit of $63.1-million a year ago.

TWC Enterprises Ltd. (TWC-T) reported operating revenue of $65-million up from $63.2-million a year ago.

Net earnings of $14.4-million or 49 cents per share compared to net earning of $22.8-million or 93 cents a year ago. It said the drop was due to a change in annual dues revenue.

Black Diamond Group Ltd. (BDI-T) announced its Modular Space Solutions segment has purchased a modular building rental company in Ontario with 1,851 units primarily focused on the education and government sector for $54.5-million, including debt.

Black Diamond said it’s also funding approximately $4-million of the company’s remaining 2022 growth capex for customers that have signed long-term contracts.

AirBoss of America Corp. (BOS-T) announced it will take a non-cash charge related to its nitrile patient examination gloves held in inventory by AirBoss Defense Group. The write-down of inventory is about US$57-million.

The company said it expects revenues in the range of US$102-million to US$105-million in the quarter. That compares to expectations of US$107.9-million according to S&P Capital IQ.

Dream Impact Trust (MPCT.UN-T) reported third-quarter net income of $337,000 or a penny per unit. The expectation was for a loss of a penny per unit according to S&P Capital IQ. The results compared to net income of $2.1-million or 3 cents per unit a year earlier.

“The change in earnings was primarily driven by timing of fair value adjustments on our income properties and developments, upon milestone achievements, as well as higher interest expense,” the trust stated.
