In photos: Pope Francis's first mass in Canada at Edmonton’s Commonwealth Stadium
Thousands of people attend the Pope’s first mass in Canada at Edmonton’s Commonwealth Stadium. The mass, with an expected crowd of 60,000 people, is the first big open-air event on the Pope’s trip and takes place on the day the Roman Catholic Church marks the feast of the grandparents of Jesus.
