Canada-U.S. land border: Beginning midnight tonight, fully vaccinated Canadians are now allowed to cross the Canada-U.S. land border, but pricey PCR tests are discouraging travellers.

  • In the United States, a federal appeals court temporarily halted the Biden administration’s vaccine requirement for businesses with 100 or more workers.
  • Britain is allowing early bookings for COVID-19 booster shots to speed up the rollout.
  • Spurred by the reopening of the land border between the United States and Mexico, hundreds of migrants are heading to Mexican border cities such as Tijuana, hoping to cross and seek U.S. asylum.
