At the 71st Annual General Meeting, held October 29, 2024, James Russell, BMath, FCIA was elected Chair of the Board of Governors of The Insurance Institute of Canada (IIC). James Russell is President and CEO of TD Insurance based in Toronto, Ontario.
Stéphane Lespérance, CRM, is Deputy Chair and President of Aon Canada.
Nick Creatura, CPA, CA is Vice Chair, Membership-at-Large and President and CEO of CNA Canada, Continental Casualty Company.
Valérie Lavoie, BASc, is Immediate Past Chair and President and COO of Desjardins General Insurance Group based in Levis, Québec.
