Yeji Jesse Lee

Yeji comes to The Globe from New York, where she worked as Business Insider’s inaugural cannabis business reporting fellow. At BI, Yeji covered news about the cannabis industry, writing profiles of cannabis startups and getting scoops on layoffs and partnership terminations in the industry. Once New York became the epicentre of the novel coronavirus earlier this year, she also covered the healthcare industry, interviewing doctors and other healthcare professionals on the frontlines of caring for COVID-19 patients. She grew up in Vancouver but has spent roughly half her life between Canada and Korea, moving back and forth every couple of years.
