Tom Bradley is a contributing writer for The Globe and Mail. He is the Chair and co-founder of Steadyhand Investment Management. His education includes a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Manitoba (1979) and an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business (1983). Tom started his investment career in 1983 as an Equity Analyst at Richardson Greenshields. He spent eight years with the firm, the last three serving as Director, Institutional Sales. In 1991, he joined Phillips, Hager & North Investment Management Ltd., where his roles included research analyst, portfolio manager, and from 1999 to 2005, President and Chief Executive Officer. In 2007, Tom and his partners launched Steadyhand, a company that offers investment management and clear-cut advice to Canadian investors. He currently serves on the Canadian Olympic Committee Investment Committee and the Board of UBC Investment Management. In July 2022, Tom was inducted into the IIAC Investment Industry Hall of Fame.
