Sarah Efron is a journalist based in Toronto. She currently works as an editor on The Globe and Mail’s Opinion team, commissioning columns and essays from staff columnists and freelance contributors.

In her previous position at The Globe and Mail, she was the small-business editor, where she led coverage of entrepreneurship and startups. She also hosted the annual Globe and Mail Small Business Summit and The Risk Takers podcast. Previously she worked at MoneySense, Financial Post Magazine and CBC Radio.

Why did you become a journalist?

Being a journalist seemed like the best way to ensure I'm always learning new things and talking with people about their experiences.
