Rajeshni Naidu-Ghelani was assistant editor of Globe Advisor.

She managed the day-to-day responsibilities of assigning and editing content and promoting it on social media channels. She also produced and hosted a weekly video series called Advisor Lookahead.

Previously, Rajeshni was in a global role as a data journalist with Ipsos, and a business reporter at CBC News in Toronto. She has international experience as a business and technology producer at BBC News and CNBC News in Singapore. She also worked in Australia as a digital producer for NineMSN.

Why did you become a journalist?

It gives you a chance to be heard and make a difference. We learn from each other and from sharing people's stories. I never write about myself personally, but the one time I did, I got such a huge response for sharing.
