Pippa Norman is a journalist and editor based in Vancouver. She’s the lead editor for The Tyee’s What Works business series. Previously, Pippa worked as a web editor/ reporter at CityNews Vancouver. Her freelance work has appeared in The Globe and Mail, Canada’s National Observer and J-Source.

While completing her journalism degree at Carleton University, Norman worked as a research associate for the Climate Disaster project and published her findings on the lack of climate change attribution in Ottawa media. Her research was recognized by the National Newspaper Awards this year as a part of its Special Recognition Citation. Her work has also received nominations for an NNA and Canadian Association of Journalists award.

Pippa is an avid trail runner, gravel cyclist and climber, and is awful at sitting still.
