Peter Cheney is a former columnist, correspondent and feature writer for The Globe and Mail. Peter launched his driving column after 25 years as an award-winning feature writer, investigative reporter and news correspondent.

Peter entered the newspaper business in 1984 after graduating from the University of King's College journalism program. He has covered everything from plane crashes to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and is the winner of three National Newspaper awards for investigative and foreign reporting. He is also a five-time winner of the Canadian Association of Journalists Award for investigative reporting.
