Nathalie Atkinson is a contributing writer for The Globe and Mail. With a wide critical and interview range, she contributes to Arts, Books and Film. Her regular culture column appears in the weekend Pursuits section.
Previously, Nathalie covered arts and culture for the National Post, where as a critic, culture columnist, and Style editor she earned many accolades (among them numerous Society for News Design awards).
Prior to that Nathalie contributed to The Globe's Report on Business and Books sections (2002-2009). Her work has appeared in many publications ranging from Toronto Life, Readers Digest, Chatelaine, FASHION, and Zoomer, to BBC Culture and New York magazine. She is a frequent guest lecturer, host, and interviewer at cultural institutions, film festivals, and literary events across the country.
Nathalie is a member of the Toronto Film Critics’ Association, the creator and host of film series Designing the Movies, and an unapologetic Agatha Christie enthusiast.
