Jen Gerson is a freelance writer and co-founder of The Line, a Canadian commentary website based on Substack. She has written for The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Economist, Maclean's, and The Walrus; she has also previously worked for the Toronto Star, The Globe and Mail, and the National Post. She is currently working on a book about the Satanic Panic, to be published by Signal, an imprint of McClelland & Stewart/Penguin Random House Canada.
