Claire comes to The Globe from a varied communications background, most recently having lived in Amman, Jordan, where she was a humanitarian aid worker. Prior to working in the Middle East, she was a political staffer on Parliament Hill, and previously worked for the Canadian government’s Mission to the United Nations in New York. Claire has a master’s degree from the University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy, where her studies focused on global capital markets. In addition to foreign policy, Claire has a strong interest in economics, and founded Btchcoin News, a weekly financial newsletter for young women with thousands of readers across Canada.
