Suspicious package temporarily halts TTC subway service along Sheppard line

Both the Sheppard and Yonge University Spadina subway lines have returned to full service after a suspicious package temporarily halted TTC services earlier this afternoon.

Constable Tony Vella of the Toronto police said that police were alerted to a suspicious package just before 4 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon.

The TTC says commuters are likely to experience residual delays due to the temporary service stoppage.
