You've got to love More to Love (Tuesday, 9 p.m. on Fox, CITY-TV). It's the new dating series that sends skinny people packing, and puts the "real" in reality. Executive producer Sally Ann Salsano explains in a promotional video that women sized 14 to 16 are the new normal in America and it's about time the country owned up to the fact. So she found a respectable, 6-foot-3, 330-pound former linebacker to cast as her bachelor and had no trouble finding 20 curvy women to vie for his attention - 5,000 of them turned up at auditions. Luke Conley is the lucky guy, ordinary in every way, except that he's had his chest waxed and doesn't mind showing his man-boobs on national TV. His vivacious potential mates range from 180 to 279 pounds, and all know how to work their weight to their advantage. The series is a celebration of size, there are no apologies here and only a few tearful admissions of how thin people just don't understand what it's like to be large. The series runs over eight weeks and is from the same guy who created The Bachelor/ Bachelorette, but there seems to be more at stake on More to Love. The women are admittedly more vulnerable and even Conley has had only one serious relationship before. Despite all the unreal conventions of the reality genre, you get the feeling these people are in it for more than a quick flash of fame.
